Review Text: I bought the leather horse collar for my mare as a replacement for her halter. She was losing hair on her face from her halter rubbing her. My boarding barn requires each horse to wear a break away halter at all times and I had tried several different types of padded halters but nothing worked. Other boarders were using breakaway collars from another website which are expensive and hard to fix if they got broke. I came across "LuckyPonyTack" and found these great leather collars that she could wear, that are break away, and set at a good price! I was able to purchase several for the price of just one of the other type of collars the other boarders were using! Now my mare has no rubs/missing patches of hair on her face and also hasn't even broken any of the collars I bought! Great value for a great product!

Review Text: I got this to replace a driving halter that I used to use to cross tie my horse while he was harnessed up. This works out great because it gives me much easier access to his face while putting on the bridle, and also because instead of fiddling with the nose buckle on the halter, I can just leave this on him and it doesn't interfere with his harness at all while we're driving. Once the drive is over, he's all set to be hitched up again in the cross ties to take his harness off! My horse is a large mini, but it's so adjustable the size is perfect for what I needed, and I didn't have to add any holes or adjustments at all. Overall, I recommend it if you are currently using a driving halter (with an over the nose buckle) to hold your horse while you get him/her in harness. This works great, looks better, and lets you get the job done quicker and with less hassle. :)
