When saddle stability really matters, use a 5 point breastplate (sometimes called a breastcollar.) Most breastplate designs attach in three places, a 5 point breastcollar attaches at 5 points. The lowest strap runs through the front legs and connects to the girth, 4 straps attach to the saddle itself, securing to the saddle's billets and to the saddle's D rings (or to the more stable stirrup bars, using
D ring savers). Includes an adjustable running martingale attachment (which can be removed permanently if not desired)
