Once used only for children or timid riders, a grab strap is becoming increasingly common for many riders, and is even allowed in the show ring of most disciplines.
A grab strap (sometimes called a bucking strap or more colorful names!) not only provides a handhold when your ride gets bumpy, but also functions as a handle to help carry your saddle, a grip to help with mounting, and a stationary point to help stabilize your reins for green horses or green riders. Helps provide new riders a place to grip to avoid hanging on the horse's reins, and gives advanced riders that extra bit of insurance.
This strap is Amish made out of top quality leather and uses heavy duty bolt snaps to quickly snap on to a saddle's D-rings or
dee savers.
Choose snap-on or buckle-on attachment. Snap on grab straps are great for quickly attaching and removing, buckle-on straps take a bit more time to attach but are more durable and about 4-5" longer.
